The AVM Converter software comes in two main versions - 3.68 and 4.00

Version 3.68 is made for 1.5" screens, either 128x96 or 128x128 only.

    This version does NOT seem to be able to convert MP4 files.

Version 4.00 is made for slightly larger screens, 160x120 or 128x128 only.

    This version will also convert MP4 files

Both version convert VOB, MPEG, AVI, WMV, MOV and probably a few more formats.

From experience, many converted-to-AVM video files still do not work properly
on the low-powered Chinese fake ipods.  I had much better success first using
external converter software to create small XviD or x264 files and then using
the AVM converter as a second final conversion.
